Zoey’s Outreach Ministry is a nonprofit organization that stands up on behalf of those who have no voice and whose voices have been forced into silence. We bring relief to the unmet needs of families who are unable to protect and provide for themselves. We believe in preserving, aiding, protecting, rebuilding, and promoting areas with underprivileged families. Our organization provides communities with meals, clothing, and the key essentials needed for day-to-day living.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Candus Johnson
Executive Director
Candus Johnson has been married to Master Sergeant Edward Johnson for 15 wonderful years! She is a mother to two beautiful children Zoey (17) and Ashton (14), and a fur baby Gage (3). Candus has been a caregiver with a focus on education for 20 years. She has ALWAYS loved to make children smile. Candus’ professional life also includes being a successful business owner. She owned Zoey’s World Spa (2008), located in Bossier City Mall, which won the Business of the Year (Bossier City, Louisiana) with a second location in North Park Mall (Ridgeland, Ms. 2009). Zoey’s World was a facility where girls had birthday parties, received chocolate or strawberry facials, Mani/Pedis, and could create their lip gloss, lotion, or sugar scrub for bath time. After selling the business, Candus traveled to different states due to being a military family, but Texas became their home. In 2019, she started Zoey’s Outreach Ministry (ZOM). Her passion stemmed from knowing and understanding the needs of low-income families and children. Thus, she founded ZOM to help and change the world as much as she could. ZOM is now a worldwide organization that is looking to turn frowns into smiles.

OUR VISION
Z.O.M. plans to deliver a program that will assist, educate, and defend those who are less fortunate. Zoey’s Outreach Ministry believes that by partnering with other like-minded organizations, we can assure underprivileged families and communities will have the support and tools they need to accomplish economic advancement. By providing the building blocks for a strong community, we are confident that we will see a significant positive impact.
